Cultural Relics Press was established in 1957 directly under State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and is the only press dedicated to publishing archeology related books and audios. It is committed to salvaging and protecting China's cultural heritage and publicizing the content and artistic charm of traditional Chinese culture. Over the past 65 years, it has published about 10,000 kinds of books on culture and archeology and sought to be “high-end, innovative and refined”.

Its publications on traditional Chinese culture are well received across the world, and are often given by state leaders as national gift.

It is the first press to engage in cultural exchange abroad and cooperate with counterparts in Europe, the United States, Hong Kong and Taiwan regions of China. It has collaborated with partners in UK, USA, Italy, Japan, former Yugoslavia, Chinese Taiwan in publishing Grottoes in China, Museums in China, Ancient China, China’s Key Archaeological Discoveries, The Beauty of China’s Archaeological Findings, etc.

It has received more than 500 awards at home and abroad, including, among others, National Book Award, China Book Award, National Ancient Book Award, and “Most Beautiful Books in the World” (Leipzig), and is commended as one of “30 Excellent Publishing Houses of China”.

Today, we are undertaking many important translating and publishing projects.

The Sui dynasty tomb of Yu Hong is situated on a dirt road that runs east/west on the southern edge of Wangguo village,in the Jinyuan district of Taiyuan.

洛阳体育场路西东周墓

The Eastern Zhou tombs recovered in this excavation were all medium-and small-sized ones and most of them were well preserved without disturbance or looting.

咸阳十六国墓

These tombs were all constructed in a regulated form,furnished with a complete set of funerary objects and bearing a distinct style of the period.
